I just got back last night from my trip to visit the relatives in Phoenix, AZ. The weather was absolutely beautiful there. It was 70 – 75 degrees F everyday and perfectly sunny (minus one rainy/cloudy day). We went down to Tuscon on one day and climb Gates Pass which is a spectacular view of the greater Tuscon area. We also had a nice picnic in the Old Tuscon cactus desert. The worst part of the trip was coming home to cold and dreary Indianapolis. Oh yeah, and the subpar road infrastructure stuck out like a sore thumb last night a lot. I won’t consider Indy a great modern city until they time their traffic lights and give wider traffic lanes with proper safety reflectors to mark lanes. It’s just plainly dangerous to drive around this city. Ah well, enough road ranting for one night.
